In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
Johns Manville in Waterville, Ohio is hiring for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.
The complex is approximately 450,000 feet on 83-acres, employing about 500 hourly and 65 salaried employees.
At the Waterville Complex we manufacture direct melt products including wet chop glass fibers primarily for specialty applications, glass reinforcements for gypsum wall boards, direct dry chop for plastic reinforcements, single end roving for weavers and plastic reinforcements, and glass mat.
Your Day to Day:
Supervise and lead electricians Communicating expectations and holding people accountable Understand and administer labor agreement Manage the work order backlog Develop weekly work order schedules Work with the MRO/Buyer, Maintenance Scheduler/Planner and storeroom attendants to support operation of the storeroom Drive continuous improvement Provide key leadership maintenance operations - take appropriate action when required Conduct morning toolbox meetings with crew Effectively communicate with employees Maintain and enforce good housekeeping Manage time and attendance ensuring overtime is supporting schedule adherence and plant needs Develop and maintain respectful workforce Administer and document training for hourly personnel Support compliance with environmental regulations Coordinate with contractors and plant personnel to execute down time effectively Conduct annual performance evaluations and implement developments plans Support and implement any special instructions provided by plant leadership team Support safety programs/accident investigations for maintenance; continuously monitor safety processes and compliance What You Bring to the Team:
High School Degree Must have 3-5 years' experience in the direct maintenance supervision in a manufacturing environment Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Basic understand of PLCs Basic understanding of Industrial electrical components and systems Fundamental understanding of safety and environmental compliance Work order management system experience Experience in a union environment ERP/SAP experience Benefits Johns Manville (JM) offers a wide range of benefits to employees.
